Welcome to Book Your Token. Book Your Token (“BYT”, “Platform” or “Service”) is owned and operated by Danavrithi Enterprises (OPC) Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BYT, including outpatient token booking, appointment management, queue information, live tracking, communications, payment processing assistance, feedback features and, where made available, teleconsultation and electronic prescription functionality.
By accessing the Platform, booking a token, submitting information, making a payment or using another BYT feature, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1.2. “Healthcare Provider”: A Doctor, hospital, clinic, diagnostic facility or another healthcare establishment listed on or using BYT.
1.3. “Patient”: The person for whom a token, consultation or related healthcare service is requested.
1.4. “User”: A Patient or another person lawfully using BYT on behalf of a Patient.
1.5. “Platform Fee”: The amount charged by BYT for providing its technology and booking-related services. It is separate from fees charged by the Healthcare Provider.
1.6. “Electronic Prescription” or “E-Prescription”: A prescription created, reviewed and electronically authorised by a Doctor using functionality provided through BYT.
1.7. “Teleconsultation”: A consultation conducted remotely through video, audio, text or another enabled communication method.
2. Nature and Scope of BYT
2.1. Technology Platform: BYT is an outpatient appointment and healthcare-technology platform. It facilitates token booking, consultation-location selection, queue management, patient communications, payment processing and related technical services.
2.2. No Medical Practice: BYT and Danavrithi Enterprises (OPC) Private Limited do not practise medicine and do not independently provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, clinical monitoring, prescriptions or emergency care.
2.3. Doctor-Patient Relationship: Any doctor-patient relationship is exclusively between the Patient and the selected Doctor. BYT is not a party to that clinical relationship.
2.4. No Pharmacy Service: BYT does not manufacture, market, sell, dispense, substitute or recommend medicines and does not operate as a pharmacy.
2.5. No Emergency Service: BYT is not intended for medical emergencies. In an emergency, immediately contact the appropriate emergency service or visit the nearest suitable hospital.
3. Eligibility and Authority to Use BYT
3.1. Personal Use: You may use BYT for yourself or for another person where you are lawfully authorised to do so.
3.2. Booking for Another Adult: If you use BYT for another adult, you represent that you have their authority to provide their information and manage the booking.
3.3. Children: Where the Patient is below eighteen years of age, the booking, consultation and E-Prescription features must be used by or with the involvement of a parent or lawful guardian.
The parent or guardian represents that they have lawful authority to provide the child’s information and consent to its processing for the selected healthcare service.
3.4. Verification: BYT or the Healthcare Provider may request reasonable information to verify the identity or authority of a User, Patient, parent or guardian.
4. Accuracy of Information
4.1. User Information: You must provide accurate, current and complete information requested through the Platform, including patient identity, contact number, age where applicable, selected location, session and booking details.
4.2. Clinical Information: Where teleconsultation or E-Prescription functionality is used, the Patient or guardian must provide accurate and complete information requested by the Doctor, including symptoms, relevant history, allergies, current medicines, previous reactions, pregnancy status where relevant and other information needed for safe clinical decision-making.
4.3. Consequences of Inaccuracy: BYT is not responsible for clinical or booking consequences caused by false, incomplete, outdated or misleading information supplied by a User.
5. Doctor and Healthcare Provider Listings
5.1. Informational Listings: Doctor, hospital and clinic profiles are provided to help Users select a consultation provider or location.
5.2. No Endorsement: A listing, public profile, review, availability status or position on BYT does not constitute an endorsement, medical recommendation or guarantee by BYT.
5.3. Provider-Supplied Information: Qualifications, specialities, addresses, consultation timings, fees, availability and other provider information may be supplied by the relevant Doctor or Healthcare Provider.
BYT may take reasonable steps to maintain accurate listings, but provider information can change. The Doctor and Healthcare Provider remain responsible for notifying BYT of relevant changes.
5.4. Availability: Displayed availability does not guarantee that the Doctor will be available at an exact time or that a consultation will occur without delay.
6. Token Booking and Consultation Locations
6.1. Selected Doctor and Location: Before booking, you must verify the selected Doctor, hospital or clinic, consultation location, city, date, session and time slot where applicable.
6.2. Booking Confirmation: A token is confirmed only after the required booking process is completed and BYT issues a token number or other booking confirmation.
6.3. Multiple Locations: Where a Doctor practises at more than one location, each location may have different timings, fees, availability and operational rules. A booking applies only to the location selected for that transaction.
6.4. Session and Time Slot: A selected session or time slot represents the applicable booking category or consultation window. It is not a guarantee that the Doctor will begin the consultation at an exact minute.
7. Queue Management and Live Tracking
7.1. Token Sequence: BYT generates and manages token numbers according to the Platform’s queue rules and information provided by authorised Healthcare Provider staff.
7.2. Queue Changes: Queue movement may be affected by patient arrival, late arrival, no-show status, medical emergencies, longer consultations, paused tokens, staff updates and other legitimate clinical or operational circumstances.
7.3. Live Tracking Is an Estimate: Live tracking and “now serving” information are queue-management aids. They do not provide an exact consultation time or an instruction about the precise time at which a Patient should travel to or arrive at the Healthcare Provider.
Real-time arrival guidance must be obtained from the relevant Healthcare Provider, whose staff have direct knowledge of the Doctor’s current clinical and operational status.
7.4. Patient Arrival: Patients should arrive before the allotted consultation window, where applicable, and while at least three token numbers remain before their assigned token.
Late arrival may affect queue position or consultation eligibility according to the relevant Healthcare Provider’s policy and the applicable BYT queue rules.
7.5. Staff Updates: Live tracking depends on timely and accurate status updates by authorised Healthcare Provider staff. BYT cannot guarantee accuracy where those updates are delayed, incorrect or unavailable.
8. Platform Fees, Provider Fees and Payments
8.1. Platform Fee: BYT may charge the Platform Fee displayed at the time of booking. This fee is charged for use of the BYT technology and booking service.
8.2. Healthcare Provider Charges: Consultation fees, treatment costs, medicine costs, diagnostic charges and other amounts charged by a Doctor, hospital, clinic or pharmacy are separate from the BYT Platform Fee.
Those charges must be paid directly to the relevant provider according to its policy.
8.3. Payment Gateways: Payments may be processed by third-party gateways such as Cashfree or Razorpay, depending on the options available for the transaction.
Payment processing is also subject to the applicable gateway’s terms and privacy policy.
8.4. Successful Payment: A payment attempt does not confirm a booking unless BYT receives successful payment confirmation and issues a token or booking confirmation.
8.5. Failed, Pending or Duplicate Transactions: Failed, pending or duplicate transactions may require verification with the payment gateway and the relevant financial institution.
The User should contact BYT through the Contact Us page and provide the requested transaction information without disclosing confidential banking credentials.
9. Cancellations, Refunds and No Shows
9.1. Non-Refundable Platform Fee: The Platform Fee is non-refundable after a successful booking except where BYT expressly states otherwise or where a refund is required by applicable law.
9.2. Patient Cancellation or No Show: If the Patient cancels, does not arrive as required or is marked as a No Show, the Platform Fee will not be refunded.
9.3. Doctor or Healthcare Provider Unavailability: Doctors and Healthcare Providers may change or cancel consultation availability.
BYT will make reasonable efforts to communicate such changes where the relevant information is provided to us.
Any refund or service credit following provider unavailability will be handled according to the policy applicable at that time and the requirements of applicable law.
9.4. Refund Processing: Where a refund is approved, processing time may depend on the payment gateway, bank or payment method. BYT does not control external banking settlement periods.
10. Communications and WhatsApp
10.1. Transactional Communications: By making a booking or using another feature, you consent to receive service-related communications such as booking confirmations, payment status, token updates, queue notifications, prescription delivery and important operational messages.
10.2. Communication Channels: Communications may be sent through WhatsApp, SMS, telephone, email, in-platform notifications or another enabled channel.
10.3. Contact Details: You are responsible for ensuring that the supplied telephone number or other contact detail is accurate, accessible and authorised for use.
10.4. Third-Party Messaging: Messages delivered through services such as WhatsApp are also subject to the relevant third-party service’s availability, security and privacy practices.
10.5. Confidentiality: Users should consider whether a shared device, shared telephone number, visible notification or accessible messaging account may expose booking or health-related information to another person.
11. Teleconsultation
This section applies where BYT makes teleconsultation functionality available.
11.1. Technology Facilitation: BYT may provide technology through which a Patient and Doctor communicate remotely. BYT does not conduct the medical consultation.
11.2. Doctor Responsibility: The Doctor is responsible for determining whether teleconsultation is clinically appropriate and whether an in-person examination, referral, diagnostic test, emergency evaluation or other action is required.
11.3. Patient Identity: The Patient or guardian must provide the information reasonably required by the Doctor to establish patient identity and conduct the consultation.
11.4. Doctor Identity: The consultation interface or associated records may display the Doctor’s name, qualification, speciality and medical registration information.
11.5. Consent: Where required, BYT or the Doctor will request separate consent before beginning a teleconsultation. Acceptance of these Terms does not replace any separate consent required for the consultation.
11.6. Suitable Environment: The User is responsible for participating from a reasonably safe and private location and for protecting the confidentiality of the consultation on the User’s device.
11.7. Recording: BYT will not represent that a consultation is being recorded unless a recording feature is expressly enabled and disclosed.
Audio or video recording must not occur without the notices and consents required by applicable law and the participating Doctor’s policy.
Users must not independently record, reproduce or distribute a consultation without lawful authority and the required consent.
11.8. Technical Limitations: Call quality, device failures, internet connectivity, power interruption or software issues may affect or terminate a teleconsultation.
If the consultation cannot safely continue, the Doctor may require another mode of communication or an in-person consultation.
12. Electronic Prescriptions
This section applies where BYT makes E-Prescription functionality available.
12.1. Prescription Author: Every E-Prescription must be created, reviewed and authorised by the Doctor identified on that prescription.
12.2. Clinical Responsibility: The Doctor is solely responsible for:
- Assessing the Patient and deciding whether a prescription is clinically appropriate.
- Diagnosis and clinical interpretation.
- Medicine selection.
- Dose, route, frequency and duration.
- Warnings, precautions and follow-up instructions.
- Considering age, weight, allergies, pregnancy, current medicines, interactions, contraindications and relevant history.
- Determining whether an in-person examination, investigation, referral or emergency care is required.
- Complying with applicable professional, telemedicine, prescribing and record-keeping requirements.
12.3. BYT Does Not Prescribe: BYT does not select medicines, determine dosage, approve treatment or issue a prescription independently of the Doctor.
12.4. Doctor Approval: A prescription must not be treated as issued until the Doctor completes the Platform’s required review and authorisation action.
Administrative assistance by clinic staff does not replace the Doctor’s obligation to personally review and authorise the final prescription.
12.5. Doctor Registration: Doctors using the E-Prescription feature represent that they hold valid medical registration and are legally permitted to issue the prescription concerned.
The Doctor remains responsible for maintaining the validity of professional registrations, qualifications and prescribing authority.
12.6. Telemedicine Prescribing: Where a prescription follows a teleconsultation, the Doctor is responsible for complying with all limitations applicable to remote prescribing, including restrictions on medicines that may not be prescribed through telemedicine.
12.7. No Emergency Prescription Service: The E-Prescription feature must not be used as a substitute for emergency medical assessment or treatment.
13. Medicine Databases and Software Assistance
13.1. Assistive Tools: BYT may provide medicine-name autocomplete, medicine databases, templates, dosage-entry fields, weight-entry fields, calculation tools or other software assistance.
13.2. Not a Recommendation: Displaying a medicine name, previous entry, suggested text, calculation or search result does not constitute a recommendation, prescription or confirmation that the item is appropriate for a Patient.
13.3. Doctor Verification: The Doctor must independently verify every medicine, concentration, formulation, dose, route, frequency, duration and instruction before authorising the prescription.
13.4. Database Limitations: Medicine databases and reference information may contain omissions, delays, inaccuracies, discontinued products, duplicate products or differences in brand availability.
13.5. No Autonomous Prescribing: BYT does not permit software, automation, artificial intelligence or another technical system to independently diagnose a Patient or issue a prescription without the Doctor’s review and authorisation.
14. Prescription Delivery, Use and Versions
14.1. Delivery Methods: An authorised E-Prescription may be displayed through BYT and may be made available for download, printing or delivery through WhatsApp, email or another enabled channel.
14.2. Separate Delivery Consent: Where required, the User will be asked to consent separately to delivery of prescription information through a third-party messaging or communication service.
14.3. Delivery Is Not Guaranteed: BYT cannot guarantee delivery where the supplied contact information is incorrect, connectivity is unavailable, the recipient account is inaccessible or a third-party service fails.
14.4. Patient Review: The Patient or guardian should verify that the prescription displays the expected Patient and Doctor and should contact the Doctor or clinic promptly if information appears incorrect, incomplete or unclear.
Clinical questions about medicines or instructions must be directed to the prescribing Doctor or Healthcare Provider, not to BYT technical support.
14.5. No Alteration: A User must not alter, forge, manipulate or misrepresent an E-Prescription or its verification information.
14.6. Intended Patient: A prescription must not be used for a person other than the Patient identified on it.
14.7. Revised or Cancelled Prescriptions: A Doctor may correct, replace, supersede or cancel a prescription where clinically or legally appropriate. The latest valid version communicated by the Doctor should be followed.
14.8. Pharmacy Acceptance: BYT does not guarantee that a pharmacy will stock a medicine, accept a particular electronic or printed prescription, or dispense a medicine.
Dispensing decisions remain subject to the pharmacy’s legal and professional obligations.
14.9. Geographic Validity: BYT does not guarantee that an E-Prescription will be accepted outside the jurisdiction in which it was lawfully issued.
15. Prescription Integrity and Signatures
15.1. Platform Verification: BYT may attach a prescription identifier, Doctor authorisation record, timestamp, audit entry, verification code, hash or other technical integrity information to an E-Prescription.
15.2. Purpose: These controls are intended to help identify the recorded source, version and integrity of the prescription within the BYT system.
15.3. Not Automatically Regulated eSign: A BYT verification marker, internal electronic approval or integrity record does not constitute a government-issued Digital Signature Certificate, regulated eSign or another legally certified signature method unless the prescription expressly states that such a compliant service was used.
15.4. No Clinical Validation: Technical verification confirms neither the clinical appropriateness of the prescription nor the effectiveness or safety of the prescribed treatment.
16. Medical Records and Doctor Personal Notes
16.1. Prescription Record: BYT may retain information relating to the creation, authorisation, delivery, amendment and access of an E-Prescription as required for operating the Service, security, audit, dispute-handling and legal compliance.
16.2. Doctor Personal Notes: The Platform may allow the Doctor to create private professional notes that are separate from the prescription and from patient-facing instructions.
16.3. Restricted Visibility: Doctor personal notes are not automatically displayed to the Patient. Access may be limited to the Doctor and other persons authorised under the Healthcare Provider’s lawful clinical workflow.
16.4. No Override of Legal Rights: The treatment of personal notes does not override any disclosure, access, retention or confidentiality requirement imposed by applicable law.
16.5. Provider Record-Keeping: The Doctor and Healthcare Provider remain responsible for maintaining clinical and prescription records required by their professional and legal obligations.
17. Privacy and Personal Data
17.1. Privacy Policy: BYT’s collection, use, sharing, security, retention and deletion of personal information are further described in our Privacy Policy.

- Providing support and resolving grievances.
- Complying with applicable legal obligations.
17.3. Provider Sharing: Booking and healthcare information will be shared with the selected Doctor, hospital, clinic or authorised staff where necessary to provide the requested service.
17.4. Service Providers: BYT may use authorised technology, hosting, communication, payment, security, translation or support service providers that process limited information for specified purposes.
17.5. Separate Consent: Where applicable law or the nature of a feature requires separate consent, BYT will request that consent separately. Acceptance of these Terms does not replace a separate consent requirement.
17.6. Children’s Information: Information relating to a child will be processed with the involvement and consent of the parent or lawful guardian where required.
17.7. User Rights: Users may exercise applicable rights relating to access, correction, updating, grievance handling, withdrawal of consent and eligible erasure through the methods described in the Privacy Policy or Contact Us page.
17.8. Retention: Information may be retained for as long as needed for the stated purpose, healthcare record requirements, security, dispute resolution, legal claims and compliance with applicable law.
17.9. Security: BYT uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the Service. Nevertheless, no electronic system or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
17.10. Security Incidents: BYT will handle personal-data incidents and required notifications according to applicable law.
18. Account, Device and Credential Security
18.1. User Responsibility: Users must take reasonable steps to protect access to their devices, telephone numbers, booking references, verification codes and prescription documents.
18.2. Unauthorised Access: If you believe that booking or prescription information has been accessed or altered without authority, contact BYT and the relevant Healthcare Provider promptly.
18.3. Doctor Credentials: Doctors and Healthcare Provider staff must not share login credentials or authorisation controls in a manner that permits an unauthorised person to issue or alter clinical content.
19. Feedback, Ratings and Reviews
19.1. Genuine Experience: Feedback must relate to a genuine experience and must not be fraudulent, misleading, abusive, defamatory, threatening or unlawful.
19.2. Sensitive Information: Users should not publish private health information, prescription details, telephone numbers or another person’s personal information in public feedback.
19.3. Moderation: BYT may review, withhold, remove or retain feedback where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect privacy, address abuse or comply with law.

21. Third-Party Services
BYT may interact with payment gateways, communication platforms, hosting providers, maps, translation services and other third-party systems.
Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy practices. BYT is not responsible for a third party’s independent acts or omissions, but this does not exclude BYT’s responsibility for its own obligations under applicable law.
22. Service Availability
22.1. No Uninterrupted-Service Guarantee: BYT aims to maintain reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

These Terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use BYT for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of intellectual property.
Clinical content authored by a Doctor remains subject to the Doctor’s, Healthcare Provider’s and Patient’s applicable rights and legal obligations.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.
26. User Responsibility for Misuse
To the extent permitted by law, a User is responsible for loss caused by their fraud, unlawful conduct, deliberate misuse of BYT, unauthorised alteration of a prescription, infringement of another person’s rights or material violation of these Terms.
